RFID 's Smart Card

The contactless Smart Card:

IPS offers contactless smart card technology for applications requiring strict protection of personal information or needing to deliver fully secure transactions.

The solution implementation benefits from the latest technological advances in this area, to enable users to perform fast transaction, without making any concessions on security and data integrity.

The proposal includes a smart card with a secure microcontroller and a memory which has the unique ability to manage, store and provide access to data on the card, perform complex functions (eg encryption or other security functions) and interact intelligently with RF with a contactless reader in safety.

The use of smart cards without contact is based on an international standard that limits the ability to read the device without contact from about 10 centimeters. The specific applications that need a great distance reading may use other forms of RFid’s technologies proposed by IPS that can be read at long distances (up to 100 m).

The solution proposed by IPS is extremely difficult to reproduce or force, since embarking best technologies against falsification and capabilities enabling it to detect and respond to attempts at manipulation and to counter possible attacks.
