IPS Metal Detector

Operation Procedures

Features

The Ips Metal Detector has two user selectable preset sensitivity levels (high and low), one visual (LED) and one audible (buzzer) alarm indicators.

User interface

The Ips Metal Detector user interface is composed of:
  • One tricolour LED (green, red and orange)
  • One push button (momentary switch)
  • One audible alarm (buzzer)

OPERATION SET UP PROCEDURES

a) Power ON/OFF
The Ips Metal Detector can be turn ON or OFF at any time by activating the push button switch for less than one second.

b) Sensitivity level set up Note: At power ON, the Ips Metal Detector is always at high sensitivity level.
The Ips Metal Detector will alternate between high and low sensitivity level when the push button is activated for more than one second (a short audible alarm combine with a red LED will indicate the one second mark to the user).

Notes

1. The remaining time left on the battery (see note 2) will depend on use, mode of operation and battery type.

2. The unit may not operate reliably below this voltage. To prevent improper use, the unit will emits three short audible alarms and auto shut off.

3. Low battery indication as precedence over sensitivity level indication. If sensitivity level indication is important, then the battery should be replaced immediately.
