Police Surveillance System
Police forces are increasingly responsible for curbing terrorism, vandalism, and random violence. For increased police and public safety, IPS envisages two solutions: short-range intervention and long-range surveillance.
Advantages
Surveillance in urban warfare environment
Intense parasitic lighting in the field of view is never a problem, thanks to range-gating technology and laser illumination. By selecting a gate width (slice of space) that is narrow enough, IPS improves the target to noise ratio.
Identification
Conduct evidence-gathering activities up to 1 km. High quality images can be used as legal evidence in criminal trials.
Seeing through glass
ATV-2000i and ATV-500 operate at 860nm, a wavelength transmitted through windows, windshields, wheelhouses, etc.
Reading license plates
IPS cameras do not detect temperature contrasts, but rather collect the reflection of the laser pulse from the target, which allows any registration mark to be read.
Short-Range Product
ATV-500 has been especially designed for special operations and can be either portable or remotely operated. Expect to deploy this new product in attack situations, for counter-measures in hostage scenarios or for evidence gathering.
Long-Range Product
The ATV-2000i is especially effective for investigations, wide-perimeter surveillance and for interventions against contraband smuggles, drug traffickers, and organized crime.
